I'm looking to utilize FS with the Enttec Pro, but want to make sure I can control sequences/chases with a MIDI Controller. Can I be in the middle of a particular chase and then switch to a completely different chase utilizing the MIDI controller? Also, when switching between static scenes with a MIDI controller, can the fade time be controlled?
Thanks for the assistance.

Re: MIDI Input
FS will respond to midi commands and allow you to switch between 'chases'. One way to do this is to create sequences with a number of steps. Once completed, you can then then combine a number of sequences (say for different fixtures) to form a Cue. This can then be assigned to a Cuelist button. Selecting a different Cuelist buttons will change the 'chase'. FS can be set up so that the buttons/pads/keys on a midi controller will trigger different Cuelist buttons.
I'm not so sure about the fade time. Someone else on the forum may be able to answer this.
As I have discovered recently, you dont even need a midi device to send midi commands to FS. You can use some software called TouchOSC to create custom layouts on your Ipad/Iphone and send midi commands to FS via your wirleless network.
