Chauvet Colour Controller 2.0

Post by djmattd »

Anyone made a fixture file for the Chauvet Tube Controller (version 2.0) ?

I have tried to make one with the fixture creator but without much success!

Does anyone know which DMX values I'm meant to put it? As in the manual it says for example:

012 - 023 Red

Which of the above values am I meant to put in the table in fixture creator?

Also, the options within the fixture creator don't seem the be suited to this kind of fixture (I know it's a controller but for the purposes of freestyler it's a fixture).

Channel 1: Colour / Programme / Auto
Channel 2: Run Speed
Channel 3: Flash Speed
Channel 4: Colour Combinations

i put the lowest # value for the dmx value. Example:

Manual DMX Values:
0-15 White
16-25 Red
26-35 Blue
ect......

i'll program the gobo values as so:

0 - White
16 - Red
26 - BLue
ect.........

if its a strober or changing effect and the value goes from 0 -100 then 0 would be the slowest setting on the effect and 100 being the fastest. once you do a fixture or two you'll get the hang of it. I just started using freestyler 2 weeks ago and i never ran dmx lighting before let alone had a program and create fixtures b ut i sat down for 2 days and just read the help files and trial and error with making fixtures that wherent in the library that i had. its all numbers thats it. _____ number = Effect/color/gobo
