Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
hi folks,
for example, I have a stage with some Parcans. I've created a seq where PAR1 is on 100%, PAR2 on 30%, PAR3 on 55% and so on.
So what I need is that I could same some snapshots of different states of my cans.
Is there a way to call this snapshot to my faders of the bcf so that I can reat to the things that are happening at the stage? (may be reducing the intensity of PAR2 / fader2)
do you have any idea?
greetz .rrr.

yes you can. Assign the scenes for the pars to overide buttons and the setup some buttons on the BCF to activate those overide buttons and you will get the result you want.

Ok. Thanks, I will try this tomorrow.
But how does the BCF know on which dmx channel each fader has to slide up?
Thanks.

In fs setup look for external control then midi.
Then assign whatever buttons or faders / encoders to whatever u want.
I thought based on ur first post that u had a grasp on how the bcf worked with fs?
Btw I would not use a fader to control override buttons. Use a button for this!
Also u can set the button to flash or latch. It's quite versitile.

Re: Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
I dont know if I made myself clear...
I wanna save a "snapshot" of for example 3 cans with different dmx values (for example a stage with a band). Then I wanna call this snapshot and I wann see the three different dmx values on my faders so that I am able to Increase or decrease a can on the fly.
Do soy know what I mean?
Thanks rrr

Re: Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
well the best way is to create the scenes / sequences for each fixture and put them into submasters.
assign the faders on the BCF to control the intensities for the submasters and then you can adjust the brightness of the of the scene / sequence on the fly.

Re: Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
Yes, I know.
I select my fixture, put it in a seq, then in a cue and all this in a submaster. And each submaster I can assign to one fader.
But what I want is this:
A scene with multiple fixtures in it, on different dmx values (brightness)... And I wanna have f.e. this 4 fixtures of my saved scene on each fader, so that I am able to increase the brightness on the fly because I see that the stage is a little bit to dark, so I have to increase the bightness of fixture 2 and 3 by sliding fader 2 and 3 a litte bit up. Then I wanna call the next snapshot... and so on...

Re: Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
Ok what about assigning midi faders to the DMX channels u want to adjust.
This will force those fixtures into manual override (the blue triangle appears over the fixture)
But it will do (I think) what u want. Other than that I've run out of ideas.

There's a feature in midi that I requested to do just just that. I will have to take a look to remember how to do it. But it involves midi to dmx and highest takes priority

Re: Calling PARs/LEDs of snapshots/seqs to individual faders
iv looked into it and its not as how i thought i remembered it.
You can use a fader to set the brightness . Rightclick on the fader in freestyler and set lowest limits.
when you release the override the brightness will not go bellow the value just set.
I used this technique on some front fills, so any sequences would ensure band members were illuminated.
