MIDI control

Post by xixi »

In FreeStyler "Submasters" option,The MIDI control cannot have "stop"?

FreeStyler-》setup-》MIDI control ,has "Toggle Submasters" to be allowed to control ==》In FreeStyler "Submasters" option ==》“run”.
Now only can control "run" in MIDI, cannot control "stop".

Thanks the help !!

Hallo zusammen,

Uwe

I already sent a bug information before I wrote this post ;)
I hope the problem will be solved soon, otherwise I have to learn how to operate with other programs. But if I think about it... I don`t want to ;)

Short Question: Is there a version of FS, that includes a working Midi-Control the way I posted it in the previous posts?

Thanks

Good evening,

I`ve got a solution for the External Control Problem via midi. The problem with normal keyboards/synthesizers et cet. was the velocity rating of the notes. Most are submitted with a value of 64 - 85. Freestyler only reacts at fullvalue = 127.
Go to the location where Freestyler is installed e.g. C:\program files\freestyler\ and open the "freestyler.ini". Look for the "Midi"-Part (close to the end of the file) and change the "triggervalue" to the value your instrument is submitting.
And tadaa it works.

Sorry for my bad english...
