Is there a "next sequence" for the cue list?

Post by lindsayward »

Hi.
I would like to be able to set one button or key to simply play the next sequence in the cue list.
I found "Next scene" and previous, but this is for editing scenes in a sequence, not playing them back.
I can set buttons 1-9 to start sequences 1-9, but I'd rather have one button that just goes to the next sequence (and one for previous).

To add context: I want to create a sequence for each song in a set list, then just press "next" to get to the next sequence when the next song starts.

This seems like a logical thing to have... Does it exist?
(Or is there a way I could make it with some other custom command?)

I see that I can put my cue list on a submaster and then use shortcut keys/buttons mapped to "Go" (equivalent of "Next") and "Run", but this is an extra setup step (add to submaster) and an extra press each time, which wouldn't be necessary if I could just go to the next sequence in the cue list.

Thank you!
