Fastcue switching giving me problems on low spec laptop

Hi

I'm currently running the software with the virtual interface (Will get Enttec Pro when I get paid ) and using Martin LJ for visualisation.

Does this use up more cpu resources than if I have the Enttec interface installed?

When I use the fast cue switcher there is a noticeable lag when I change cues.

Also get a "file not found" error if I switch from a cue with lots of sequences in to one with less when I switch at a point further down the cue list when I have "loop all sequences" enabled.

i.e.

I load a cue with 15 sequences (call it cue15). I want to change to a cue with 5 sequences (cue5) but do this at sequence 12 in cue15. It plays out sequence 12 then it tries to play sequence 13 in cue5 and I get the error. If I click the error away and then click on sequence 1 in cue5 it will play. When it tries to play sequence 2 in cue5 I again get the error. Can only be cured by stopping the chase, closing cue, re-opening cue and re-loading the cue I want.

I am trying to get my head around the liveshow ability of this software before I do my first live show

have you changed the number of steps in the ini file after you have created your shows?
Im just clutching a straws really thou.

Upgrading your ram in your laptop will give you a better performance boost.

I've only increased the number of steps. Problem seems to be intermittent. I will monitor it more closely and report back.
