Hello,

I have brought two used units. I tried to create a Fixture by my self. Unfurtionaly it doesn't work correctly.
Especially using Pan and Tilt is somehow strange. I think the problem can be that these units are only 8 bit?
As the manual tells me that:
PAN 540° is on channel 4 - DMX Value 0 - 255 - 0 - 540° pan movement
Tilt 280° is on channel 5 - DMX Value 0 - 255 - 0 - 270° tilt movement

and now what is special I think:
Channel 6 = Pan/tilt speed 0 - 255 speed adjustment pan/ tilt

So I have no idea how to tell Freestyer that the united does have a kind of speed adjustment on channel 6.

The rest of the features already work.

So, does anybody have an idea how to handle with this?
Whould be great if you can help.

How about adjusting your fixture profile by using another feature (like focus channel or prism rotations) as the pan/tilt speed.

Hej you two.

What about using 9 - 10 macros "Volume" icons.
You can then set the speed to a pre defined value and if you need a fine control you just use the slider in right side of FreeStyler.

I have neve adjusted pan, tilt speed on my setups. It is allways at full speed.
If I need to slow it down then I uses the fade function.

Why do I tell you this.
Well if I get a fixture with a prisme rotation control then I will try it.
And with pan, tilt speed I can't see anything changes and therfore report it "Not working".
Think most users will do the same.
It is not a control that are addressed offent so I don't need direct access to it.
And if you remember to fill in the channel names then when you use the sliders then ther will be a text "Pan/Tilt Speed" / "PT Speed"

Just my thoughts :D
