SOUND TO LIGHT PLEASE HELP

Good Evening .. I hoping ya'll can help me. I am new to the dmx lighting aspect and new to freestyler... I would like to control my lights using the sound to light option for a party im hosting tomorrow night... yes i know this is last minute... my quetstion is I will be using virtual dj and running my lights on the same computer when i activate the sound to light option it only gives me the option to use a microphone. How do I use it to pick up the music my sound card is putting out. Thank You

Start > All Programs > Accesseries > Entertainment > Volume Control
Options > Properties
Select the recording tab, ensure that All Boxes are ticked click ok
on the slider page, click the first slider (select) box
freestyler will now pick up you music
