Issues with New Install

I have been building and running my shows on a Win 7 machine with Freestyler v 3.5.0 and Easy View build date 8/27/12. On this machine I downloaded and copied the beta version of 3D Easy View exe and everything works the way I need it to.
I have a different machine that I want to use, Win XP Home and have downloaded FS v 3.5.2, downloaded and copied 3D EV Beta exe build date 1/25/13. To test I set up one par can in FS and the same in 3D EV. Will not work. Also I've noticed on my Win 7 machine EV closes with the closure of FS. Not so on the 'new' XP machine. If I close FS, EV stays open until I manually close it. Any Help?
