Need help fading scenes!

Post by graystreet84 »

Hello everyone. Let me start by saying I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong section. I am new to this site and new to freestyler all together. I have been using fs for a few days now and I must say I love how easy it is to use and the layout, however, I am having some serious issues.

I am trying to use this for a church install. A theater type setting. My ultimate goal is to be able to make a scene with a lot of colors and different intensity levels and be able to crossfade to a different scene with different colors and intensity levels.

I have 20 led par 64's and 10 conventions running into elation dimmer packs. Also I am using the Enttec Pro as my dmx to usb converter.

Here is the issue.... I have managed to make a 2 step sequence, adjust the sequence and fade time and save it as a scene. I did this for a lot of different colors and it worked great with the led's, however, the conventional lights just snap off when I move to the next scene. The led's fade on and off perfect and the crossfade looks really good but I have no idea how to make the convention par cans fade out (or crossfade) when I click on the next scene. They fade up perfectly, they just wont fade back down. If anyone can please help It would be GREATLY appreciated! I only have a couple more days before I have to have everything working perfect and I am getting really stressed out!!!

God bless!

Have you set them as fade for both steps? Step 1 0% intensity step 2 100% intensity if fade is set on step 2 it will fade to step 1,
