Scanners not obeying master fade [delete]

Hi everyone.

Trying to get my scanners to obey the master intensity/fade.

Scanners (Chauvet Intimidator 300). Fixture is created properly.

After initially inserting fixture into freestyler, they function as expected. If I exit and re-open FS... they fade to 0 then jump to 255. Default intensity channel values are 0 for scanners. Really boggling.

If I watch the dmx output, you can see the channel's value to go 0 then jump to 255. Driving me nutz.

Any ideas?

[UPDATE]
son of a... figured it out... had to set both the shutter and dimmer channels to be named: Lamp. Now they seem to work. Dang that was frustrating.
