Hi All,
I am setting up my FS to play mostly busking gigs with live bands. To that end I have the submasters set up with all the individual settings of the fixtures. The rest are going to be set up on cue list buttons and overrides. My intention is to use cue list buttons most of the time and then perhaps change a few bits and pieces during the songs with the submasters. I have a couple of questions on doing this please.
Firstly when using the cue buttons and setting up the sequences on them - What additional settings are required for a cue list to stop and another take over with the new sequence. I am aware of the restore values however do I have to stop one and then start another or can I just start another and will it take priority. I ask this as I am attempting to use one and then hit another but it retains some of the colours still on from the previous cue list button.
Also are there any tricks in stopping the lot apart from the blackout button....?? I know you can use the fade out however does that need every fixture to have an intensity channel...??
Any tips most welcome please.

Re: Cue & Sequence creating and playing tips & tricks
Hi All,
I thought I need to explain this better.
When I build a cue using the submasters save it and add to a cue list button I can shift between cues easily with one shutting off and the new one taking over. I have 'restore all values' set when I save the SM built cue and all works good.
But SM's give you less options than building a cue using the sequence creator.
So when using the sequence creator to build a cue and again saving using 'Restore all Values' and setting up on a cuelist button the fixtures do not turn off automatically therefore it is a mix of the previous cue colours and the new one. I am using PAR LED's.
Any help appreciated.

The link you sent Spirit DID help.

That is all the fixture channels, even though you may not be using them in the sequence.
