Problem TouchSmart tx2

Hi
I have Hp TouchSmart tx2 tablet
I have problem with installation program,
When the program startting I get a message "Tablet PC Input Service" (tabtip.exe) service is still running (FS May crash if running). Stop it?
I can not add fixtures or sequence

I wouldn't want to hijack your thread, but I used to have that prompt until by mistake I clicked "do not warn me again"... now everytime I start freestyler it stops my tablet service and would like to leave it running

Would you know how to get it back?

Hi,

I have a Touchscreen laptop.
and it also gives the same message.
I do not know how to solve this, but i do know how to turn it back on again.
You go to the Start button -> All programs -> Accessories -> Tablet PC -> Tablet pc Input panel
Now if you open "Tablet pc Input panel" it should work again.

(If i'm correct i use a Dutch version of Windows so it can also be called diffent)

I'm afraid you misunderstood my question, as even though I know how to enable the tablet service, I have to do it everytime I start Freestyler, since by mistake I clicked the "don't ask me again"..

Would anyone know how to get this prompt back?

yes i see the problem.

But it doesnt make any differnce.
Because if freestyler NOT close Taptip.exe it will not start.
So its the only way to let it work.
first let freestyler turn it off and if freestyler is ready you can Enable it again.

That is strange... it used to start ok with the touch interface on.. It warned me it could crash if I didn't let it disable this service (fair enough! , but still let me in if I decided not to.

I suppose I can reinstall the whole thing again.. already tried messing about with registry files and whatnot... oh well.. thanks for the help!

I've also got the same problem, I've also had a look through the ini files, and I can't see how to stop the tablet pc service from stopping on startup. Has anyone found a way to undo the selction on startup not to stop the service?
