Update not recognizing lights

The problem- I was using my personal computer at a church to run the lighting. I had FS ver 3.4.8 installed on it. I am now moving and taking my computer with me. So I took a computer we weren't using and downloaded FS 3.5.1 on it. I imported all my custom lights and locations. I also installed the special .dll files need for my USB to DMX box (USB-DMX512). After all that. Nothing. I look at the LED's on the box and the DMX is solid but the USB is blinking rapidly.
I then uninstalled and reinstalled but did not install the special drivers. Again same thing.

Oh don't let me forget both times I tried the LED screens on the lights themselves became solid telling me they recognize there is a DMX program open and ready to send them information.

IDK what could be the problem. I have reconnected my computer for the time being. But once this is resolved I can move. I refuse to leave this church without proper lighting control.

HI, I am no expert however have a couple of ideas. Some may not agree but here we go-

Are you using the backup for your new laptop off the old one...?? If so there is sometimes a problem with the backup. It takes a little time but I copied all the FS files in the folder across to the new PC and that worked. A little over the top for some I know.
