Hi, In my set up I have some strand theatre lighting now running off DMX dimmer packs.
I have four 1000w T-Spots
Six 500w Strand profile spots
Two 500w Strand fresnels
eight 300W Par 64 cams
and twelve 300W overhead stage downlighters.
Each uses only one channel to cast some white light (I do not gel these any more) they just have different beam angles.
I would like to include them in my freestyler and Magic 3D so I can verify which lights I am working when plannning/creating scenes, chases etc.. offsite.
I have found one Parcam 64 in the fixture lists, are there others which would be suitable or Do I have to create my own AND
if I create my own using fixture designer, will they be available in both freestyler and Magic 3d, If not how do I get them into both?
Thank you

Re: Old style analogue fixtures
hi
a Fixture file is just a Visual icon for you so you can see what your doing.
and to easy see which fixture you selected.
so with your setup.
Each light only uses ONE Dimmer channel.
so a Parcan should do the trick, only if you realy like to have the correct icon on it you can create it with Fixture creater..
and on 3dView you can also use parcans only they all have the same beam angle..
and with Scanlib.exe you can create you own fixtures with differnt beam angles...

Thank you for the reply - I understand better now.
Just one final question. Will fixtures created with Scanlib.exe be available to both Freestyle and Magic 3D
Thanks

NO fs and 3dview are two differnt Softwares designed by two differnt devolper.
so you need to create each fixture 2 times....
1 for FS and 1 for 3dview...

Re: Old style analogue fixtures
OK so the program Fixture creator 6.3 I think was installed at the same time as freestyler -
so where do I find the fixture creator for Magic 3D - as it is here where the beam angle will be apparant and most relevant to correct?
Thanks
