Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
You need to be more specific to your problem.
What does: "I also can edit the Controler in Freestyler" mean? I have a fairly good idea though. But be clear.
Do you see values changing when pressing a button or sliding a fader in editing midi control in FreeStyler?
Did you 'start' the midi input?
Make sure that (for example buttons) only respond when the midi value 127 is reached.
Look around on this forum, there are several topics about midi control in general. They may guide you through to a working system.

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Hi remco_k,
thanks for your answer. I try to be more specific on my problem step by step.
1. I start my Automap Server Version 3.5
2. I start Freestyler Version 3.3.2
3. Open Setup item of Freestyler Menu
4. Open External Control --> Midi Control
5. Input: Automap Hui, Output: Automap Hui
6. Edit the Function list e.g. "toggle Blackout": If I press the wished button on my Zero SL for this function, in the freestyler list appears Toggle Blackout: note 32, Page 1, n.a. (The value of this button is either 0 or 127, no values between)
7. If I save the list, and I press the mentioned button on my Zero SL again, nothing happens, that means the function Toggle Blackout doesn' t work. --> If I press the button Toggle Blackout in the freestyler menu, the red sign "Blackout on!!!" appears.
And now I don' t know where is the mistake?
Thank you for your help.

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Slowly I get the picture
The Midi Input and Output channel of the Zero SL weren' t the right. I had to switch to Automap Midi (Input and Output).
Now the faders and button of the zero SL communicate with the functions in freestyler.
That' s a big success for today

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Hallo, need some help with one function.
I am configuring my Zero SL to control Freestyler and Eurolite Par 64 RGBs. The Eurolite Pan has 5 dmx channels:
1 Red
2 Green
3 Blue
4 Shutter
5 Strobe
In Freestyler --> Setup --> Freestyler Setup --> External Control --> Midi Device
I have the following list items:
Cyan Channel --> Red in my case
Magenta Channel --> Green in my case
Yellow Channel --> Blue in my case
Shutter Channel --> doesn' t control the function shutter correctly
Frost channel --> Strobe in my case with unusual behaviour*
* Let me explain the unusual behaviour:
If I use my Strobe (Frost channel) fader (value 0 till 127) the strobe reaches value 252 and then automatically the Shutter has immediately the value 255 (before 0).
Backwards, when I fade the Strobe from value 127 to 13 the Shutter keeps the value 127 until I reach the value 12 with the Strobe, then the Shutter has immediately the value 0.
I also changed the Contorllernumbers (CC#) for the functions with the same result.
Can anyone help?
Thanks TOASTIE

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Hi Kristian,
unfortunately I erased my Stage while trying to find the fixture file. Do you know if there is anywhere a stored Temp file or anything else of my stage?
Thanks. And how do I export the fixture file?

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Problem with the erased stage is fixed
Was no problem to recreate my stage.
I' ve taken the fixture of the added fixture folder of freestyler:
Setup --> Add/Remove Fixtures --> Folder Eurolite --> first entry: LED PAR 64 RGB SPOT (has 5 dmx channels). Without my Zero SL Controller I can adjust the values manually in Freestyler correctly but unfortunately not with the Zero SL Controller.

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
Hallo, I need some translation help for a function:
The question is refering to the "Edit Panel" of Freestyler:
Edit Panel = I' m working with LED CANS of Eurolite 5 dmx channels. If I want to set my settings I mark one of the cans (cyan can then) on the right hand I can open a window with following entrys:
red
green
blue
shutter
strobe
How can I control the shutter settings? Wich is the right Command of the Freestyler Setup List (Midi Control)?
Anyone any idea?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
I' m back with my "shutter" Problem:
Therefore I' ve exported the Fixture File.
I still have the bad behaviour of the shutter fader of my novation zero sl. The shutter fader within freestyler (led par box in the upper right corner in the program window) functions correct.
I' ve also tried other Functions to assign to the fader of my zero sl to get the "Shutter/Dimmer" Function - without success.
Hope Soemone could help me out
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely
TOASTIE

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
For better understanding where the problem is with the shutter fader I've made two short films:
Film 1 shows correct shutter fader behaviour via mouse in freestyler software.
Film 2 shows incorrect fader Bahviour via novation zero sl.
Hope you can help me to locate the mistake.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Need some help with configuring my Zero SL
I have the same problem! Is there a solution?
When i reached the 127 of my midi fader it changed not only the strobe channel, which is connected the midi fader
