KAM Mighty Kaleido Laser Fixture..... Frustrated Now !!

Hi All,

I believe I have a decent grip on making fixtures now, in fact I have done everything apart from one now but this is really cheesing me off. I have made both an FS and an EV fixture file.

When I test the FS file live on the laser, it is doing everything it should, so that is a plus. When I test it in EV the beam stays constantly on. This is despite all the sliders being set to 0, and on checking the DMX level in EV they are also 0, I just cant get it to turn off, so any help would be very welcome please. I work away from home and using EV is the only way I can do my learning.

I have attached my files and a copy of the manual.

Without knowing much about EV I will say that it is the definition of "Off" and "DMX control" on channel 1.

It is blocks with a "?".

Have you tried to ude shurrer open and Closed on channel 1

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am also guessing its something to do with CH1 but all the sliders on FS show 0 as do the DMX levels on FS output and EV DMX level.

Could you please elaborate on what you mean by ''Have you tried to ude shurrer open and Closed on channel 1'' ....??

i use EV from time to time.
i also made mine own fixture.
but i would use Shutter Closed and Shutter closed on Channel1 to Turn off or turn on the Beam.

Hi Folks,

Just set up CH1 on a linear dimmer setting within the FS fixture file and all is working. Thanks very much again !!!!!
