Re: Fixture profile Stairville Flood Panel 150
hi
i'm no jan_k but i know the same.
how you make the fixture is the most easy way and there's nothing wrong with it.
Only if you like to use the color picker or FX genartor its not going to work because freestyler doesnt know which function is on a Channel.
so if you like to have all the function freestyler can offer.
look at this page for the 4 channel mode http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/f ... can:arc1_d
and as i see the 8channel mode can be a little bit confusin but here a tutorail how to create the 8 channel mode

Hej again Funkasia.
As Spirit points out the 4 channel tutorial guide you step by step.
And please give a feedback if there is anything in the tutorial you don't understand. Then we have a chance to improve.
When you have created the 4 channel fixture then we will help you to break down the 8 channel to small parts that you can create.
In the 8 channel you will need macros to place channel 6 in correct position because it changes the function of other faders.

Re: Fixture profile Stairville Flood Panel 150
Looks nice.
For the 8 channel fixture you can use the 4 channel as starting point just change the total channels to 8 and save it in a new name.
Dimmer and RGB has the same channel no when channel 6 = 0.
Strobe you place on channel 5.
In the macro you have to map channel 6 = 12 , to the colors on channel 2.
I use the middle value (You can find more on the wiki about that)
I would have place a screen dump of the mapping but it was not readable in the pos so I just changed in the fixture have a look.
The color are just numbered 1 to 29. You have to add the correct colors.
Unfortunately the color folder are not available in macro so you have to generate / find them and move then to the gobo folder so they can bee added.
In channel 6 range 25 to 255 channel 2 has a speed / level control function.
Normally I will place that on a gobo control but this gives two faders with to the same channel. (Don’t know if you have a better solution Spirit)
When you are at the top of this then we can continoue.
