How can i control with a external midi controller the DMX400

...i need to use some subgoups for moving heads, colorchange, ecc. then i need to control 12 channel dimmer with par64...so i need each dimmer channel on a fader and on a flash button in a external controller.
How can i do this?

go into the midi setup, find the midi to dmx row,
assign a midi note from the external midi device, then type in the dmx channel.

can DMX400 master, DMX400 speed, etc. be controlled with a MIDI fader-box?

could not find correlating controls in the MIDI setup.
