Cant access shape generator sequence in offline mode

Hey guys,

Quick question. I was following the Wiki How To on programming submasters for moving heads. I select my moving heads, open the lamp, but the problem is when I open the sequence editor, it shows offline mode. Then when I go to use the pattern generator, it wont let me, complains that patterns are not available in offline mode. Without the patterns, I cannot record the movement sequence, which I would then eventually store in a cue and SM. Any idea what I am doing wrong, and how to get out of offline mode in order to record movement into a sequence.

Hej neils.

Close SM and Cue. Then it should be able to open Sequence editor in normal mode.

Thanks Jan, did not think of that, and yes, my SM and Cue windows were open at the time. Will try that. Thank you for your answer and time !!!
