Disconnection when ipad blocked

Hi! I discovered that the app get disconnected everytime I block my ipad. Could it be a bug?
Does this happens to anyone else?

I'm running ios 5, not jailbroken and FS 3.4.8

Freestyler running in two parallel desktops on windows 7 / B-control fader BCF2000 / Korg Nanokontrol 2 / iPad 2 with Freestyler remote. Enttec dmx usb pro. IMC pro dmx node.
