Okay guys let me do my best to explain what i have going on then maybe someone can help me figure out how to control it.
First I have 6 groups listed below:
1. 12x 4 ch LED lights Dance Floor
2. 2x 4ch dimmer pack (addressed the same)
3. 4x 4 ch LED Lights (Up light Tower)
4. 4x 4 ch LED lights (DJ Booth Lights)
5. 20x 4 CH Led around the room up lights
6. 2x DJ Scan 250 moving heads
I was using the fixture creator to make chase shows for group 1 however it was changing the other groups to off!
Can I seperate these lights in sub zones that wont be controlled by the FX generator? hows the best way to do this?

Hi.
Off means these channels Are not recorded to the sequence.
Fade and Snap means that these channels are recorded to the Sequence.
The FX will only works on the Selected Fixtures.
So if you select the a group Fixtures and press "Generate" on the FX .
you will see that on the selected group some on the Channels go to Fade or snap.

Re: Controlling sub zones (universe)
okay so I can make the scenes and save them for each group then run them seperately and they will work as if they where all seperate?
Like if i want the 4 group to be chasing blue and green and the 1st group to be can-can red and blue they wont try to override each other?

Yes indeed.
if you create a Sequence1 and only Group1 Got there Channels on Snap or fade.
and you make a Sequence2 with Groups 4.
then they will be Playedback separte from eachother.
