I'm completely changing my lighting system, so I figured it might be time to explore some new options when it comes to programming.
The old way...4 SCX500 scanners + 4 Optima LED pars combined together in same sequences.
The newer way...scanners running their own sequences...Chauvet COLORrails in 7ch mode live in FS (no premade programs or sequences) usually running those in sound mode
So now I just picked up a pair of Intimidator Spot 250 LEDs, those will be running with the COLORrails. Here's how I would ideally like this all to run....
- Moving heads running off submasters but still reacting to music, but in S2L being able to set beat dividers by 4 to ensure no jerky movements of the lights
- COLORrails running in 26ch mode off their own sequences also to sound, but being able to set their reaction to every beat or multiplied by beats in S2L (separate from the heads) as some of those chases I would like to be very fast
So now that you know what I'm looking to do, what's the best way to accomplish this from within Freestyler? I know FS is very versatile, so there are different ways of doing it...just looking to see how some of you might do it.
Thanks for the help guys
How would you program this setup?

Re: How would you program this setup?
I know Freestyler only supports a single universe, but if it did support 2 would this setup work? Looks like the only way I'm gonna get this to work will be to run Freestyler on 2 computers with 2 different interfaces
I guess this really comes down to the limitations of S2L though.
Nobody has any thoughts on this though? I can't believe I would be the only one who has a setup like this.

Having no experience with S2L I think you are right.
You have to run it on two PCs because you want to control the sequences on two different beats.
Alternative you have to add 4 dummy steps into the movement sequences that runs on ¼ of the beat.
I don’t know how easy / difficult this is to accomplish in you sequences.
