seperate gobo and color

Post by Steffen »

Hey
whats up? My name is Steffen and I´m from Germany. Sorry for my english ;)
Im new to Freestyler and all that Lightjockey-Technique.

So, here is my problem:
I tried to program my Gobomovement independent of the color. I although wanted to map the color on different keys.

I got two fixtures. First for Color, second for movement.

When i try to save the Gobomovement the program also saves the Color and here is the problem.
I´m sorry but i really dont get it how to seperate these two functions and there are no germany forums to get the informations that i need....or i just cant find them ;)

Thanks and greets.

Hej Steffen.

You get a chance to try out english. :D

I think you will benefit from reading the FreeStyler wiki.

I am not sure what you are trying to do but when you are making a sequence then be sure to set the Gobo fader to "snap" or fade and the other controls off.
Then you will only record the gobo channel in the sequence.

And when you make a coloc sequence then only the color faders in "Snap of "Fade", the rest off.
