Will freestyler work for me?

Post by johnnotestine »

I am hoping I didn't just waste money.

I bought the enttec pro dmx interface and downloaded freestyler. I am pretty good with computers and programming but haven't been able to get freestyler to do what I want yet.

I am using: 1 ADJ Megapixel LED, 1 ADJ Galaxian 3d, 1 Revo 4, and some par can LED's.

What I would like to be able to do is during a live gig have my par cans fading and be able to switch them to sound active. Also during the live gig I would like to have the ability to blackout, strobe, and set my other fixtures to sound active when I want.

Is this all possible with my dmx interface and freestyler, or should I have bought a physical controller.

Thanks!

Thanks Spirit. Sounds like it is possible to do what I want, I just have to learn how! I have been reading the wiki's and trying to figure this whole DMX thing out.

I am used to the simple ADJ UC3 controllers and looking for some of the same functionality.

Thanks again.
