DE_INTERFACE wont work with Freestyler!

Hi @ all!

Sorry for my english, but i have to ask u some Question. i have the DE-inteface. The interface works great on "PC_Dimmer" and "Dmxcontrol" but some how i wont get Freestyler work. What do i have to do to make Freestyler work with my DE_interface??? pls Help

P.s.:as an example in DMXControl i have to copy&paste the usbdmx.dll file in the Programmfiles

Never heard of that interface before.
Its not on the list of the supported devices. So that might answer the question why it won't work.
(see http://www.freestylerdmx.be/ and press the download button in the top menu to get that list).

Just copying some dll to some location is no solution.
The device is just not supported.

A lot of generic devices use the FDDI Chip.. You should try to use the Enttec Open Interface with it.

Yeah! Like i told! It works with "PC_DIMMER" and "DMXControl". But i wanna try Freestyler.
But i dont know how to make it fit. In Freestyler Setup i choose "Digital Enlightment" as Interface but nothing happend.
Do i have to do something first?? Does anybody have some expierience with this combo (DE-Interface>>Freestyler)????
I am open for any suggestions.

What kind of box do you use ?
Im having the same problem!
Works on Pc_dimmer with DE but not in freestyler.
When i try to chose enttec it says "No device detected'

The Digital Enlightenment USB-DMX interface definitely does not use the FTDI interface IC or drivers. It's based on the USBN9604 device and AFAIK shows up as an HID device.
