Potential Bug - the Bug link doesn't work

Post by kwelch007 »

Apologies to all...I tried to follow the recommended bug link, but it went nowhere. So, Here's my problem.

Bug A) The link to the "bug" forum doesn't work.

Bug B) I have some cues that I want to "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" prior to making DMX settings. However, the first time I activate one of these cues, it does not disable the over-rides. But, if I then activate another "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" cue, the over-rides are disabled and everything functions as I expect.

That is, it seems like the first time a "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" cue is called, it doesn't disable the over-rides. But, the second time a "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" cue is called, it works.

Any advice would be appreciated! I openly admit that I might be doing something wrong.

I'm an experienced programmer, and would be happy to contribute to fixing the problem, but am also open to the possibility that I'm doing something wrong. Programmatically, I suspect that the "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" function is called at the end of the Cue process, explaining why calling a Cue that requires that function sets it AFTER the Cue is triggered. IMO, the "Release All and Disable Override Buttons" function should be at the beginning of the Cue process.

Thanks!
Kendell

Ahh...found the bug reporting area...definitely not where the link leads.

But, nope...can't even register or log in.
