Toplite Merlin C20 Rotating Gobos

Post by davek2011 »

I have four of these lights and have tried using the following fixture file.

download/file.php?id=1277

I have tried editing the file in fixture creator to get the rotating gobos to rotate but to no avail.
Can anyone help or suggest what I should do?

The dmx values are on the following pdf.

If i look at the PDF and Fixture file.
then the Gobo rotation is allready there.

Only with in Freestyler they Named it GOBO3.

I am a bit confused here.

The gobos are there in gobo channel 2 but the rotation channel is not defined.
gobo rot. 2 has to be set to channel 9.

Where do GOBO3 fit into this ?

Yes sorry i wasnt clear about that.

But if you Open in FC the "Channel description" and on FS "The right side sliders".
You will see the Name "Gobo3"

Because channel 9 Is GoboRot.
you can read that from the PDF.

To solve this/and make it look nice you only need to Fill-in a "9" in the "gobo Rot.2" Box
and if you Go to the "Channel description" you will see that fixture creator automatic Names the channel "GoboRot2".
Now save it and it should work fine ;)
(Or it does allready work only YOU! need to know Which channel controls a Function.)
