Weird Problem!!

Post by djharryg »

I've got a Pocket Scan on channel address 1 and a Pocket Scan on address 17. All was running great all night. I'd click on either fixture and have full control.

Suddenly.... Fixture 2 stopped working by itself.

When I click on fixture 2 in doesn't react to anything. HOWEVER... If I click fixture 1 WITH fixture 2 it works fine.

And... If I ONLY click on fixture 1, it controls fixture 2 too.

What the heck is going on?

I tried shutting the fixtures off and on. I tried shutting down the program and restarting. I disconnected the Velleman and put it back in. No luck.

Fixture 2 will NOT react unless fixture 1 is selected with it.

HELP!!

I figured it out... The power to the building cut out for a second and reset fixture to to address 1. So... both my fixtures had the same address. I didn't realize it till' I walked around front to look at them.

ha ha . I was too worried about getting the music back on to even consider the power outage resetting the address of one of the fixtures from 017 to 001.

Other than that... Freestyler worked great!!!!!!!!!!!

Better yet, post it in FreeStyler Fixture Files - User created Downloads so that more people can benefit from it.
