Hi,
maybe i'm just to stupid, to use this masterpiece of software, but I have a question:
I'm using often a lot af moving heads and the random strobe function is one of my favourites effects. Now I saw, that this function is also available in Freestyler. When I put this function on a key it works fine, but the random value is still in the Shutter Chanel after I release the key. So is there a possibility to put it on a Override Flash button or any other possibility, that the value is going back to the last value after I release the key?
I would be great if any of you guys could help me!

Re: Random Strobe on Overide Button
If the Radom strobe is a Effect that comes with the Movinghead, then its Possible.
1) make a Sequence One step long with the Shutter channel on the Correct value. (Random strobe)
2) add it to a Override button
3) set the Shutter channel to Open or closed. (Before you open the CUE window, Overide buttons window)
Now if you press the Button it will go and Random Strobe and if you Select the Same button it goes back to the Previous Value, OPEN or closed.

Hi Spirit,
thank you for your answer. Unfortunately the moving heads don't have this function. So I will think about an other solution,

Re: Random Strobe on Overide Button
the Chutter channel work on LTP Latest takes Precedence.
So if you use the Cue window/Submaster you can just make one Sequence for Shutter open, and another one with Your Radom strobe Sequence.
and now if you Run Shutter open the Shutter will be open and if you Run Random Strobe it takes Precedence from Shutter open. and if you now press Shutter open again it take Precedence from Random strobe.

Re: Random Strobe on Overide Button
The answer is to use submasters. Then you will be able to conrtol the heads as you want. The 'random' bit can also be controled this way be using the setting in the cue page. See the tutorial I made some time back for more details....
