chase generator Topic is solved

I am planning to replace my hardware controller with freestyler. The one big feature I am missing is a chase generator. My current controller, a pulsar mastrerpiece 108, allows oyu to apply patterns to chases thus saving tons of time when programing moving mirror and moving heads.

Let me try to breifly explain. I can make two scenes of just pan limits, then make a chase of the two scenes. Then I can apply a pattern to that chase which will do things like follow which would move fixture one then two,etc or random levels to each. You can make a scene with four channels at full then make a chase of that scene and a blank. Then applay a pattern that will chase the channels, chase a hole, odd even,sine, cosine,etc.

Basically you can program 10 scenes and make it look like you programmed 50-60 all because the chase generator is doing that work of modulating the channel levels.

I don't think the idea could be out in the same catagory as the manhattan project . I am only talking about adding an app to the sequence window that would allow the channels with a value of more than zero to be modulated by a mathematical formula .

There is no rush.
