Creating one-step-sequence (for moving head)

Post by lemon »

Hi!

I'm at the beginnings with Freestyler.
At the moment I "just" want to program a sequence that makes my moving head move (nice sentence :D ). So I've followed the steps I found in the wiki
- opened the sequence editor
- opened the pan/tilt windows
- set a Bezier Shape there
- set it "ON" (in the master output windows I can see the pan/tilt values move around correctly)
- and then I save the sequence

Then I closed the pan/tilt window after setting the shape "OFF" and inserted the sequence in my cuelist to test it. But when I start the sequence nothing happens.

Afterwards I made the same steps, but I added a second step to the sequence with the "+" symbol.
Now the MH is moving, but as the second step does not contain anything the MH stops as long as the second step is running.

Now my questions:
a) What's the error in my programming? It seems that the last step in the sequence is not be saved anytime
b) is this the right way I chose? I want to program a few different moves for my MH, and during moving I'd like to start other sequences that change color/gobos, also I'd like to change them manually.

Thank you very much for qour help!

Andy

- Set Tilt/pan Off to Fade Or Snap Depent on what you want.
- and then you save the sequence

there are differnt ways to controll your lights it depant on how you whant to controll them.

but i use the Override buttons to controll Gobo/Color/Iris/Prism/Strobe, it's just one klink and it chances the Gobo or color or what ever you whant.

any other quastions just ask.

In relation to this:
I've made a sequence with one scene, containing a bezier shape. Works like a charm.

However, putting it under an Override-button, my scanners are not moving at all.

Don't the Override-buttons support movement-shapes?
