ok, so i am very new to all this
my 1st question is when do you use SunTrix?,
and when do you use LedTrix?
i see a user used LedTrix for Revo IV, with a 16x16 matrix
i thought you'd use SunTrix as this is a color fixture...??
also why can't i create a 12x24 matrix on the SunTrix?
but i can on the LedTrix?
i need a 12x24 matrix, to use all 288 LED's on these panels
and what values i use for "skip xx channels for every xx channels" on these panels
anyone use these plugins on the American DJ Panels?
i'd love to scroll text on them
any help would GREATLY be appreciated...

Re: Mega Panel & Profile Panel with SunTrix & LedTrix
You have do differ between color-fixture and color-MIXING-fixture. A red lamp is also a color fixture, but you only can decide on or off - not wich color to show...
Same with SunTrix and LEDTrix. On SunTrix you can only decide if a Pixel is on or off (ok, of course you can dimm it). So one Pixel needs one DMX channel.
On LEDTrix you can decide wich color to display, by selecting RGB values. This means, you need 3 DMX channel (one for red, one for green, one for blue) per pixel.
This brings us to the differen sizes of matrixes. If you have only one channel per pixel you can have a lot of more pixels controlled by 512 channels of couse...
The Revo IV has colored LED - but no color-mixing. Means, you have only to decide which intensety a pixel goes. So use SunTrix.

Re: Mega Panel & Profile Panel with SunTrix & LedTrix
Hi-- I have no clue how SunTrix works, but my set up is all LED pars so far. I'd like to get either a Profile Panel or a Chauvet ColorPalette for stage wash, any comparisons of the two that you can offer?
Thanks!
Thanks!
