Addressing Problem?

Post by 3cprod »

Sorry, I'm a newbe- so this might be a stupid question, but I can't figure this out. I have 8- Eternal Lighting ETL-904-FlatPar hooked up sequentially to each other. I start addressing at the first in line. In the last fixture, I have a DMX terminator. Problem is, when I select all fixtures- I don't get the last fixture. However, when I run the macro that someone wrote for these, it only controls the last fixture (that wouldn't work with the others.) Is this enough info to go on? Thanks in advance to anyone, I am really stuck!

Yeah, I've got it. A DJ wrote it and emailed it to me. When I imported it, I guess the flashing macro was with it. I have each fixture plugged in to the next one for all 8, with the terminator in the last one. I have 8 fixtures set up- and do a "Select All". When I just do a color, or something simple like that, that last one doesn't work. Do you want me to send the .pff to you?

I figured it out. Somehow, the setting on the light for that one fixture was set to 6 channels. All of the other lights were set to 3 channels. When I set it at 3, everything worked. Sorry for bothering you on this.
