Hi all, just programming a scene for an intro of a song and I can't seem to get the setting right for this...
Apologies for all the noob questions I'm quite new to lighting and I'm starting to get overwhelmed!
The Song is Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown - it starts with 2 beats on the guitar of which I want to Flash twice with all RGB lights... so first off I created just a simple Override Button as a flash button bringing all fixtures to 100%... but this doesn't have the right effect (some of my lights are LED and some are not) this as you'll know just turns the LED's straight off.. I need a fade out as well.
Now I tried to create a Sequence with a fade out on step 2 - but now I can't quickly trigger the same flash twice without hitting the button four times (one to turn the cue on, one to turn it off, one to turn it on again and again for off...all ready for the next two hits!!)
I also need to create a fade out button for the end of songs (all fixtures fade)... is there an easy way to do this ?

Re: Blinder Effect/Fade Out
First of all, you can only assigne single-step sequences to override buttons. If you assigne sequences with more then one step, only the first step will be played.
I would recommand to use the cue list. Load your sequence into it twice and set the second one timed after the first one. You then just need to start the first sequence.
To fade out all fixtures at the end of the song use the master intensity window. There is a "fade out" button.

Re: Blinder Effect/Fade Out
Thanks Mavi, I'm not sure this will work 'live' as we won't always be playing to the same tempo. Basically I want to be able to press a pedal & release which makes the lights flash and fade but have that pedal ready to press again in short succession. (maybe I have to set up 2x pedals with a flash/fade scene?
I'll give the two step sequence a try though to see if I can modify in any way.
Thanks

Hi LJ, I have had a quick look - but I'm probably being stupid - I can't figure out how to work it... I did think it would be useful for my needs (Live Bands, FS coupled with FCB1010 pedal) - but can't seem to figure it out...

GoMonkey will sort out this problem, to use gomonkey you need to write an XMl file to tell it what you want to do. The syntax for this xml is in the first post of the gomonkey discussion.
