Question about creating a sequence

Post by MichaelVH »

Hi All,

me again :)

I've got a question about creating a sequence. I've searched the forum for a solutions, but wasn't able to find any match.

Case:
I want to create a "motion" with 4 movitecs SL-250's. They should ALL do the same movement (circle); but I want them to move independently/asynchronous (by which I mean that they have to run the same movement at the same speed, but not all synchronous).

What did I try before:
I've created a new sequence with 4 steps; in each step I fire up a movitec's movement and make sure they all move asyncrhonous. However; when playing the sequence, the first time the movitecs do it right, but when changing the movement (running another sequence) and than changing back to that first sequence, they automatically return to a synchronous "mode" (moving in sync).

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks alot!

Kind regards,

Michael

try this.

when creating the sequences try rotating each shape by 90' so fixture would go 0' 90' 180' 270'
this sets there starting position and should do what you want.

to do this select the first fixture open the xy pan tilt tool press shape press Rot. and leave it set at 0

then select only the next fixture open the xy pan tilt tool press shape press Rot. and set at 90'

do this for the third a forth and see if it works.
