Save as startup values?

Post by Bobby D »

When I open freestyler two of my fixtures are strobing. This is a little annoying! I changed the settings to these fixtures so they aren't strobing and goto edit-"save as startup values". But when I close and reopen FS the settings haven't changed. Is there a way to correct this? The FS version I'm using is 3.2.0.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that was one of the bugs in that version because I had the same problem. Update date to the latest version and it should work as normal.

And if not, check the fixture file in fixture creator. Here you can configure start values as well

Thanks for the fix. I went into fixture creator, changed the values and it worked. Should I upgrade to the lastest ver. anyway?

Since there are bugfixes and new features in newer versions, I like to have always the newest version of a software. BUT there is also a risk every time you update. That is why some people say "never touch a running system".

I would reccomand to crate a backup of what you have now, then update and test if everything works fine. If not, you can use the backup to restore the old sate. That is the way I deal with updates too.
