Cue List and Cuelist Buttons

Post by Duckfather »

Hi all

I'm relatively new to Freestyler due to v2.x not working on my laptop. Luckiliy, the new version works quiet well. But I've hit a problem that I've not managed to find satisfactory advice / a fix / workaround by going through the site.

I've saved many sequences and assigned them to a series of cues. I want to be able to change the current cue and get a new set of sequences, just like using the fast cue changer dropdown. The problem is, I need to do this via a MIDI foot controller.

I can assign cues to the cuelist buttons and select those, but these buttons run ALL sequences in a cue when selected. I want to be able to just select a new page of sequences (leaving the last running sequence running) and then be able to choose a new sequence when I have the correct 'cue page' ready for use.

Failing that, is there any way I can assign a sequence to a different MIDI note above the 20 that appear in a cue? I'm using an FCB1010, so can, in theory, trigger 100 sequences from it if this is possible.

Cheers in advance

Andy
