Hi there,
Can someone tell me if it's possible to have more than one copy of freestyler (on different PCs) on the same ArtNet network? My Network (2.0.0.x) consists of 1 PC running Freestyler to control channels 1-96, another PC running Freestyler to control robos on channels 96+, and one PC dedicated to running the 'Art-Net to DMX' app connected to an Enttec DMX Pro.
When I look at the DMX output in the 'Art Net to DMX' software, it seems that whilst one FS is telling a channel the value I want, the other FS is telling it to be 0. So whats happening is the FS controlling 1-96 is telling all the other channels to be 0, and the FS controlling 96+ is telling the lower channels to be 0, resulting in extremely fast alternation between the two values at the DMX interface.
Is there anyway that I can tell FS to ignore channels, or not send anything to them?
Cheers,
Justinsg

i don't know anything about art net, but it is logic that FS sets all unused channels to zero.
I'm curious, why do you want two FS on each computer to control the same universe?? why not control the whole universe from one FS on one PC

In addition: If you realy have to use different PCs to controll, simply build up two universes. Use one PC fore the first, the other for the second. You will have to use an additional USB2DMX interface and some more DMX-wires then of course.
