freestyler 3.2 windows 7 64 bit
on startup freestyler asked me to allow connection to internet
during performances i don't want to be connected to the internet so i said no
now freestyler crashes every time i want to startup

Try to re-install FS and see what happens if you allow to connect to the internet. Do you still have the same problem?
I also have FS (newest release) on Windows 7 64 Bit. Here it workes fine.

When you first run fs 3.2, windows detects that the software wants to open the a port.
You will have to go back into windows firewall and change the rule.
Freestyler isnt trying to connect to the internet, its trying to start its internal server so that external apps, such as the upcoming android phone control can access it.
Now what you have come across is possible a bug. send Raph an email stating that when you don't open the port the server is making freestyler crash.
However i am unable to replicate this bug. Im running 3.3.2 (3rd release)
