Intensity submasters stopped working =(

i have created some intensity only sequences for conventional lights to run from my computer running freestyler. they worked well in the past, i could adjust the intensity of the state using the slider next to it, but when i used it the other week it would only fade them up to full and the slider had no effect. what can i do about this? and why is it doing this now when it was working before??

Have you upgraded the version of FS since it was last woking ?
Are the fixture profiles EXACTLY the same ones that you used when it work last ?

It could be a bug that you have found but I used the very latest version at the weekend and the sm intensitys all work as expected so there may be another cause to this problem.

Im using the same and Ive just tested using the 3d vis and it is working properly here.
Please let me know exactly what fixture profile you are using. If its one you have made yourself then please post it to the forum.

i have reinstalled freestyler 3.3.1 and i am still getting the problem.
i am using a 24 channel dimmer pack that i have made myself, but before reinstall i was using the 24 channel that comes with install and i have put 24 par 56s into 3d easyview to check and they still just fade up
and i have programmed the sequence exactly the same as when it was working

Instead of using a 'dimmer pack' profile try using generic par cans. So thats 24 fixtures instead of the 1 dimmer.

I think you will find that it will work now.

could it be the dimmer itself which is set to work as a switch?

do u have the problem id you not use a running sequence`?

i have been testing with the 3D easyview, but the actual setup is a demux with analogue dimmers and it did it on that too, so i think it is a software problem rather than a hardware problem as i have the same problem with 3DEV

Iv just run a quick test. i also have the same issue.

Single par can.
cue to set parcan to full.
run cue as submaster.
Master fader and submaster fade had no effect on it output.

are you using 3.3.1?? maybe if someone with a previous version could try it because it worked before i upgraded
