Post by eventstudionam »

Hi all together,

when i connect my new Enttech pro dmx and check all things in Enttech pro utilities all seems fine. ports firmware even when i check dmx outputs, all seems ok, then i open freestyler and it seems that all channel of my fixture are on the 1st channel. meaning the thing is playing wild.

sounds weird :?

be sure that you have closed the utility tool and other programs connected to the interface before opening Freestyler. also check your settings, fixtures, com port number and addresses in freestyler to check that the problem is not caused by freestyler

if you still have the issue, write again but try to give some more specific details. the more details you give us the more help you get.

I have found sometimes my Pro acts funny when it's not receiving enough power through USB... I find this especially through my laptop where it get's very moody sometimes especially if i run other high power USB devices off the same bus. Usually find it is fixed by using an externally powered USB hub (or changing to a different USB port and removing all other USB devices). Never have a problem on any of my bigger rigs, mainly laptops.
