Function - Blackout

Blackout is a grand master function that turns off and on all light.
Here is a small description of how it works.

In general it takes all shutters and close / open them with one button.
The shutter is in the Lamp Panel.

There will be this red box on the screen when it is active.

It may be necessary to have fixtures that are not included in the blackout.
As example this could be light on a dj with moving heads.
The light position are to be adjusted once, Colors are to shift with the rest of the setup.
This light are in this example to be switched off separately so it is possible to have light on the dj when the rest is turned off with “Blackout”

To do this the fixture can be set to ignore blackout .
This is done in the “Add/Remove fixtures” which can be found under the menu “Setup” → “Add/Remove fixtures”

This blackout with individual control, can of course also be made with cue / sequence but that is an other story.

Blackout Groups.
This is a special case of Blackout where it is possible to blackout single groups.
For more information see Blackout Groups.

If the blackout don’t work as expected the have a look in the troubleshooting.
