Sorry if I'm being lame... have read a bit but am confused....
Want to upgrade to the new version from 2.96j but if I'm reading things right, NONE of my sequences will work in the new version.
I have 100 sequences and really don't want to have to recreate them for the new software. Is this the only way?

You can use your old sequences again. You only have to open them in the editor and save them again. (Although, it worked for me!)
Maybe it is wise to try it first on another computer.
Good luck!!

as far as i was aware.
the old sequences were compatible before version 3. As version 3 had a new format.
In the past opening an old sequence into the sequence editor would save in the new format. And this will also be the case with sequences built in version 3, upgrading to version 3.1
but you shouldn't be able to upgrade from v2 to v3.
Hi
Normally you can open your old sequences in the "create sequence" window and save/convert it to the new file format.
Best regards
Raph
If that means you can do it, or Normally you can but not this version is any ones guess. I have no version 2 sequences to test this.

You CAN load your 2.96j files and convert them, we did that as well and all works
