hi i'm looking for a fixture file for the equinox virgo laser.

I am expecting a DMX cable for free styler next week so i will have a go at making one but i have no idea where to start.

Are there any howtos for this. i do not understand how to add a laser as its not the same as a scanner.

Please point me in the right direction thx

i have been trying to get this one working but the dmx channels in the book do not seem to match.

It says 8 channels. channel 1 works as teh mode with blackout like the book says. it then says
6-Move X
7- Move Y
8- Speed

but 8 is moving the X
and channel 9 seems to be the Y

has anyone had any experence with this laser

Many fixtures have a mode setting. E.g Mode 1,2,3,4.
Each mode has its own DMX adressing, wich are all in the manual.
I don't know your fixture, but maybe it set to mode 2 and you are trying to control it with mode 1 DMX assignments.

Are you sure you've set the right start channel?

yes start channel is 1, i haev termnated after the dmx laser.

There is not any settings other them dmx channels and one to turn dmx on and off

i ahve worked out most of the channels. seems theres afew channels between the ones hte book says that do not seem to do anything.

i hvae modes and B/O, pattens working, single shares and x/y scan

i think the book is just wrong. I will post what i have when i get it finished
