Different max strobe speed in freestyler and 192-channel remote control

There is a strobe.
When connected to a remote control (a normal 192-channel remote control), the maximum flashing speed is faster than if the speed fader is turned off to 255 in the Freestyler.
The speed channel settings are specified min = 0, max 255.
What can this be related to?

most likely one is using dmx control and the other is accessing built in macros

Hmmm, in both cases, I use a dmx connection. And I control the speed through the fader(both on the remote control and in the Freestyler2)

If you have a really cheap USB to DMX the refresh rate can be slower and cannot be adjusted. I use the Enttec Pro micro and in the Freestyler setup you can adjust the refresh rate (I use the lowest setting it will allow).
Maybe that is reason?

Or you have "Link sliders with channel functions" on (under the setup tab)
Ik i have that on the strobe settings on my Mega hex Pars doesn't work corectly either.
The random strobe on the pars go to 223, anything above that turns the strobe off and the lights on, 0 is strobe off + lights off
With Link Sliders on those settings go up to 255 and 255 is random strobe while 0 is the normal fast strobe.
