Ok, so my old USB - DMX device broke, so i ordered the above off ebay on monday and its come through this morning. I installed the drivers, and loaded freestyler 296 setting the Interface selection to Afterglow. But all I get is the message 'Error Creating Output Thread'. Does anyone know of any problems with this device with freestyler? I have tried all sorts of settings with no success.
I have a gig on Saturday, and I have to have a working USB - DMX device. (That also works with Vista), so any idea's I would really appreciate them!!

Id send an email to raph he is normally very good at replying quickly and should be able to offer you some advise if not a fix.
Hope you get this sorted before sat.

Ok, for the benefit of other users, I also emailed the support at Nextec, and receieved a super fast responce, to explain that there was an issue soon to be corrected by Raph. In the mean time Freestyler should work if Enttec Open is selected. Top support from Nextec. Well recomended.

Hi All
Could you check if the file "Threading.dll" can be found in the windows\system32 folder?
Best regards
Kikabyte
Yes, Threading.dll is in the system 32 folder.
Nextec
I will be sending Raph an updated driver shortly that should fix this problem.
The new driver also fixes a problem when running on Vista as well.
Thanks
