OK, so you want to walk away from FS (toilet break?) but still want your light show to continue...but change periodically.

1) Choose or create 6 different looks that you like that can be assigned to a cuelist button.

2) Create 6 different tabs of cuelist buttons.

3) Add each of your favourite looks to the first cuelist button of each cuelist tab

4) Now open up FS external control and pick a key on your keyboard (lets say the key 'a') and assign it to both 'next cuelist tab' and 'toggle cuelist one' (YES! you can use the one key for two different actions).

5) Download the following bit of software:

http://installation.murgee.com/auto-key ... nstall.htm

What this program does is automatically press a designated key after a preset amount of time. Set the software to press 'a' after say 30 seconds.

So...

Every 30 seconds, FS will swap cuelist tabs AND start the cuelist in the first cuelist button. You can now enjoy that toilet break knowing that your show will continue without you!

I've already subtitled 'auto pilot' as a feature request but I might as well ask for a 'next cuelist button' keyboard shortcut now that we can automate it ourselves. Still would be nice if we could get it to change every 4, 8, 16 or 32 beats.

I use Ableton Live to do all that. :)

Ahh...so the software I mentioned in the OP allows you to have multiple instances running. So it can 'press' multiple keyboard buttons after a selected time. I'll have to experiment with this.
