I am using a one step cue to run one of the in built programs of this light. When I deselect this play button in the cue list the light carries on playing.

How can I achieve it so when I deselect the cuelist button the light turns off

Thanks
Coley

Hej coley65

I am not sure that I am aming at the right issue here.

It will continoue until you set it to do something new. Deselect don't change that.

If you want movements to stop then make a seruence with a fixed position, could be center.

If it is only sequences with 1 scene then it may be an idea to use the overridebutton.

Hi Jan
The fixture has four channels 1-function, 2 -chase, 3-speed, 4 strobe.
I noticed the restore values button within the cue list was not restoring the values.
Looking at the output of my pars I noticed that restore values only works when the channels are set to red green or blue.

So I set my first 3 channels to rgb and now when I stop the cue the light turns off.

Is this the correct way of doing this?

Thanks for the help as always

Regards
Coley

It sounds wrong.

But I may not be the right one to answer as I don't use cuelist buttons.
I will have a look when I gets home.

Maybe Spirit has worked a bit with cuelist buttons.

Hej again.

I have been playing a bit with this but don't have a clear picture of the restore but it looks like it restore correct.

But I noted that in the cue - cog wheel there is a "Restore only intensity channels" and in the Cue list button cog wheel there is a "Restore only shutter channels"
Have you checked these two settings.

Instead of adding you one step sequence to a curliest button, add it too an override button. Engaging the override (you can choose the button to stay on, or on only momentarily as a flash button) will make it follow the sequence. It then returns to its normal state when the override is no longer activated. Perfect for strobe effects!

Thanks for replies
I did a gig last night with the set up last night worked fantastic. The reason I have to use the cues and not the overrides is because I used the ipad app to control the lighting and the cues buttons and the override buttons are on separate pages.

I played for over 6 hours and not once did this set up let me down.

I would love further development of this app in respect of bigger buttons and interaction with the buttons of freestyler so you can tell what cues are running

It has taken me a long time to learn to use freestyler but the but last night I reaped the rewards I really enjoyed using it.

Thanks for the help

Just a small note.

If you use the override button then you sequences must only have one scene / step.
If it have more steps only the first is played.
There are more info on the wiki about that.

I like to use override buttons to change the beam, gobos and color options to my existing cue lists. Adds options to already programmed scenes. :D :fs:
