I am new to this so I am going to try and make the Chauvet Circus fixture, I will upload tonight as I do not see it anywhere on the forums.

Thanks

So, the programs are cool and alll, but I am assuming they are considered macros in FS. Does that mean I need to figure out each pattern and make a little gif to match with each?
I will do that but can someone tell me if that is the case.
Doubt I will get anything posted tonight but I am working on, all just so new to me
Thanks

Like with inbuild programmes i just Use the Icons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
But in the end it just how you like to have it.

Macros is the best place to do inbuild programs though?

You can use Macros or the Third gobowheel.
But its not a Big deal.

Why not the 1st gobo wheel. I am just trying to understand how to build fixture files

read this page, and all the links you see
http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/fixture_creator
thats because , i have never seen a Fixture with 3 Gobo wheels.
So the third Gobowheel is mostly Used for other commen functions.
and the Macros is a Jocker Function, it can be used for realy everything.

First try at this, anyone want to take a loook and see if it makes sense
Gobo2 is Speed of program
Gobo3 is built in programs
and then there is a strobe pattern.
For some reason I could not export as a pff so I attached a zip file with all the files I used
Thanks

Ahh yes i used it and i see a Fault, Sorry but i also forgot this.
But the Gobo Window does not Open. but that comes because there is No Gobo1 Channel.
So if you Change Gobo wheel 2 To Gobo wheel 1 then that problem will be solved.
Only the bad this is You need to Redo all the Values again.
You can also Change Gobowheel 3 to 1
And the Lamp panel wil not Open and thats caused because there is no Shutter ch Or Intensity ch.
and to solve this i would recommend to fill in the Chutter ch. to 3 and Open = 255 (Fast Strobe) Closed = 0 (Shutter off)
But Shutter closed is also the Blackout feature with in Freestyler, so that will not work. And it will stops The Strobo.

Finished this file with pictures for the in-built program. Anyone with a Circus let me know if it works for you.
I get my DMX to usb tonight so I will try it out as well
My first attempt at building a fixture but I think I did it right
